I recently used Resolute Health Care Advisors for assistance with chronic misapplication of ICD-10 diagnosis codes for my blood labs by my health care provider. Phone calls to AETNA, the clinic, billing, and business departments, and even a conversation with my doctor could not seem to fix large price tag blood labs for routine screening on my HSA plan. I finally decided to call Resolute and found Kerrey Hunt to be incredibly helpful. She reviewed my previous two labs and noticed all kinds of errors, including the estimate on my upcoming lab. I cut and paste her email to me and sent that to the people at the clinic and lo and behold, my lab went from $539.15 to ZERO! I spoke with the clinic specialist this morning after my lab and she explained to me that Kerrey’s email was all she needed to input the correct codes. This is not a cheat, it was simply getting the correct codes for the correct situation into the system. I learned how messed up our health and insurance system is as well as how difficult it is for these health care providers to select the proper ICD-10 codes out of the thousands available to them. Kerrey got it straightened out! Thank you for all you do and Great Job!
